ACNE PRONE FACE
There are several different types of spots (pimples) including blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, nodules and cysts. A person with acne will often have a mixture of different types of spots, although one type may be more common.
Acne usually occurs on the face, neck, chest, back and shoulders where there are large numbers of sebaceous glands. There are many factors that are linked to the cause of acne, though we do not know the exact cause. Some of those factors include a hormone increase during teenage years which can cause the oil glands to plug up more often, hormone changes during pregnancy, starting or stopping birth control pills and some types of face creams and cosmetics.
There are many forms for treatment available for acne, which makes it hard to know what is really effective. We have researched carefully and now have many years of successfully helping people with acne. The aim of treatment is to heal pimples, stop new pimples from forming, prevent scarring and help reduce the embarrassment of having acne. Treatments include active skin care, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and intense pulse light therapies.
We also have a large range of mineral makeup, which will not block your pores and can be used to help camouflage any imperfections that you may have. Did you know that mineral makeup is actually good for your skin?
